Working Wonders is an interactive space for learning, play, imagination, and exploration. Each exhibit has different learning opportunities and provides tons of fun.
You and your child can build a house in Kidstruction, visit far away places in our Passport to the World exhibit, tend to a pretend puppy in the Pet Hospital, create your own pizza, and even do the day’s grocery shopping all in one visit! The journeys you can take at Working Wonders are endless. Visit the Exhibits page for more details on each exhibit area.
When you arrive at Working Wonders, please take a moment to study the museum floor plan and check the activity schedule. Your admission is good for the entire day, so be sure to get a hand stamp if you would like to take a break and return later.

Guidelines
To ensure that the museum is safe, enriching and fun for everyone, we ask that guests follow Working Wonders’ guidelines while in the museum.

- Stick together throughout the museum
- Use your walking shoes (please keep your shoes on)
- Pick up after yourself
- Enjoy food and drink in the snack area only
- Be respectful of others with your words and play
Tips for Enhancing Play and Encouraging Learning
- Let your child be your guide.
- Get down on your child’s level.
- Interact with your child.
- Observe and support your child’s play and learning style. Some children are movers and shakers, some are purposeful doers and others are careful observers.
- Ask open-ended questions that evoke more than single-word answers. For example, ask your child to describe or explain what they are doing. Open-ended questions allow kids to be more creative and use language more fully. They also provide a window into what your child is thinking and feeling.
